2. User Obligations

By using our services, you agree to:

1. Identity Verification: Provide accurate and complete identity information during registration
2. Document Authenticity: Submit genuine supporting documents for certificate issuance
3. Private Key Security: Maintain confidentiality of private keys and passwords
4. Lawful Use: Use certificates only for legitimate business and legal purposes
5. Immediate Reporting: Report any suspected compromise or misuse immediately

3. Warranty, Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Payment & Processing Terms

1. Payment Processing: Secure payment through trusted gateways with immediate transaction confirmation
2. Pricing: All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise with transparent, no-hidden-fee structure
3. Instant Issuance: Certificates issued within 5 minutes of successful document and video eKYC verification
4. Currency: All transactions processed in Indian Rupees (INR) with real-time exchange rates for international customers

Returns & Refunds Policy

1. No Returns After Issuance: Once a Digital Signature Certificate is successfully issued and delivered to the user, no returns or refunds are possible. This policy exists due to the inherent nature of digital products – certificates cannot be “returned” as they are intangible digital assets that are instantly activated upon issuance.
2. Digital Product Nature: Digital Signature Certificates are non-physical, electronic credentials that are permanently associated with the certificate holder’s identity. Unlike physical goods, digital certificates cannot be physically returned, resold, or transferred to another party, making traditional return policies inapplicable.
3. Certificate Activation: Upon successful issuance, certificates are immediately registered with the Certifying Authority and become part of the public key infrastructure, making reversal technically impossible and legally inadvisable.

Cancellation & Refund Eligibility

1. CA Issuance Failure: Refunds are exclusively available when the Certifying Authority (CA) cannot issue the certificate due to technical failures, regulatory restrictions, or verification system malfunctions beyond user control.
2. Automatic CA Refunds: When certificate issuance fails due to CA-related issues, we process automatic refunds within 5 to 7 business days without requiring user intervention. Refund notifications are sent via email and SMS.
3. Pre-eKYC Cancellation: Users may cancel their DSC order and receive a full refund if cancellation is requested before completing the eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) and video verification process. Such refunds are processed within 48 hours of cancellation request.
4. Verification Timeline: The eKYC and video verification window typically remains open for 30 days from order placement, providing adequate time for users to decide on proceeding with certificate issuance.

Shipping & Delivery Terms

1. DSC Token Delivery: When USB tokens are ordered alongside DSC certificates or purchased separately, physical delivery is required.
2. Standard Delivery Timeline: Normal delivery for DSC tokens takes approximately 2-4 working days from the date of certificate issuance and token preparation.
3. Delivery Coverage: Token delivery available across India through reliable courier partners with tracking facilities provided upon dispatch.

Service Warranties & Security

1. Certificate Validity Assurance: We guarantee that all issued certificates comply with CCA (Controller of Certifying Authorities) standards and government regulations for the specified validity period.
2. Security Standards: Implementation of industry-standard security protocols with SSL encryption and secure data transmission.
3. Technical Support Coverage: Best-effort technical support provided for certificate installation, browser configuration, and basic usage guidance during business hours.
4. Platform Uptime: We maintain 99.9% service availability target but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance requirements and external dependencies.
5. Third-Party Compatibility: No warranties provided for compatibility with third-party software, government portals, or applications beyond our direct control.
6. User Responsibility: Certificate holders are responsible for maintaining certificate security, proper usage practices, and compliance with applicable digital signature laws.
7. Warranty Limitations: Our maximum liability is limited to certificate replacement or service credit equivalent to the paid amount for the specific affected service.

5. Certificate Validity & Renewal

Terms regarding certificate lifecycle:

1. Validity Period: Certificates valid for periods specified at purchase (1-3 years)
2. Expiry Notifications: Email alerts sent 30 days before expiry to our subscribers
3. Renewal Process: Simple renewal process with coupon discounts for existing users
4. Certificate Revocation: Immediate revocation for security breaches or policy violations

4. Website Ownership & Service Modifications

Platform governance, service scope, and modification rights:

8. Account Suspension & Termination Rights

1. Platform Termination Rights: We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend user access to services without notice and liability for any reason, including violations of these terms, applicable laws, regulations, or for operational security requirements
